Nat believes she has two callings in life --- winning the lottery and working on a morning show. Since the lottery win hasn't happened yet, she continues to live her second dream.
Nat has been working in Vancouver for over 10 years.....almost all of that exclusively with Drew Savage. In fact, the show celebrated it's 10 year anniversary in January. Ten years is pretty impressive and is statistically 8 and a half years longer than the average celebrity marriage.
Before Vancouver, Nat did both radio and television in Ontario for a few years including: being a VJ at CMT (Country Music Television) and a stint as the weather anchor in Kingston - though her and the green screen often did not get along. Thus she left the glamorous world of weather to pursue the equally glamorous world of radio.
Nat and her husband live in the mountains on the North Shore. But she assures everyone that it's quite civilized and she's not there secretly writing a manifesto with a faulty typewriter. When not on the air, Nat can often be found hiking the trails with her husband, their three dogs and the occasional stray bear.
Drew began his radio career when he was 18 by playing pan flute versions of Led Zeppelin songs on the local FM station in his hometown of Guelph, Ontario. While Drew thought being on the radio was super cool, the girls in his high school weren't super impressed by the "beautiful music" format. However, all their grandmothers loved him!
Since then, Drew has hosted morning radio shows in Owen Sound, Guelph and London, Ontario before moving to Vancouver in 2003 where he began hosting the "Nat & Drew" show with Nat Hunter. In 2012 and 2013, Nat & Drew were named "Favourite Radio Personalities" in the Georgia Straight's "Best of Vancouver" readers poll. After spending their first 10 years together on 95.3 CKZZ-FM, they're thrilled to be moving their entire show, including Erin Davis (news & traffic) and Producer Scooter to 103.5 QM/FM.
Drew lives in the community of Steveston with his wife Shelley, daughter Marlo and dog Lola. They're looking forward to adding two more little legs to their family this summer when their second child is due.
Scott 'Scooter' Shantz Has been the Producer of Morning's with Nat & Drew, since 2008. Born and raised in the lower mainland, Scooter knows and loves Vancouver well. He can often be found biking the seawall, enjoying a beer on patio, or snowboarding the slopes of the cities greatest mountains, sometimes all in one day!! He's a die hard Canucks fan and can also quote top gun in it's entirety from memory (so he claims...). Scooter lives in Vancouver with his wife Jo-lee and a standard poodle that looks like a Muppet, named Hendrix.
You’ve heard Erin Davis on the radio for more than 20 years in Vancouver! Now, she’s thrilled to start another chapter at 103.5 QMFM. Erin grew up in Kelowna, graduated from UVic, and has worked in Prince George and Terrace. Erin is married to Steve Dunbar, and is mom to Ainsley Rose and Charlotte. Outside the radio station, Erin’s a soccer mom, a cupcake baker, and bargain hunter. Erin’s favourite things: Family, Ginger (the Labradoodle), talking Vancouver real estate, skiing, thank you cards and Trevor Linden.
